I am sad to see all of the Seniors here at Pea Ridge High School leave. I am friends with  a lot of them and I am going to miss seeing the everyday. I am going to miss being able to run around and hunt and fish with them.

One person that I am going to miss is Tyler Hamilton. He and I were on the state livestock judging team together. We both always competed for top individual. We were both always coaching and competing with each other. He was always there to help me if I needed it and he always was there to watch out for me. He never pushed me away because I was younger but he always welcomed me to join him on a fishing trip. He was always nice to me and never was a jerk. He has become one of my best friends and he will be missed in the Pea Ridge ag program. That’s another thing. He always was working to improve the ag program. He didnt just say yall handle it and go on, he always tried to solve the problem himself. He did not lose enthusiasm about agriculture his senior year.

One more person I will miss seeing everyday is Sadie Robertson. She helped to make the ag program what it is today. She was always there to keep Mr.Mason, Matthew, and I in line. She never let us get crazy and she helped coordinate every meeting. She helped me plan and run the ice cream social, the chili social and hayride, she helped me plan barnwarming, and she helped me at the annual banquet. She was always there to help me when I needed to.

Another group of people I will miss is those seniors in my AP Biology class. They have always been willing to help me with my studies when I needed help. I was probably a pain for them all year long but they helped mold me into the scientist that I am today. They never gave up hope on me when I had trouble growing bacteria, they never gave up hope when I asked a stupid question, they never gave up hope when I lost my homework, they just never gave up hope. I am glad that I had these three people in my life to help me learn more about biology. These three people were Robert Devor, Kelly Green, and Kaden Ryan.

In conclusion , I would like to make it clear that you do not know how much I will miss these seniors. They helped to make me the person that I am today and they never turned me away just because I was younger than them.

Hi everyone, I am going to be touching on a controversial issue today,

I hope I am not stepping on any toes but I have some things to say about the way that our government is being ran today. Our government is being controlled by a democratic party in which they are destroying our great nation. They want to tax, tax, tax, tax, tax, the working man and let others live off of welfare and unnecessary means. I am not saying that welfare is a bad thing all of the time, but it can only be a good thing if it used correctly. People abuse it and they are bringing the economy down.
Now I want to say a few words about our " president. " Our president definitely has some things mixed up. First off all I am to talk about how he allows abortion. It should not be legal in America to receive an abortion. Some may say that the baby is not living or unknowing, but the baby is. If it has a heart beat than it is a living human being. So for a doctor to take that little baby's life than he is committing murder! MURDER! Murder is happening right here in America and the government is the one allowing it to happen. My next issue I have with the president is that he does not set a good Christian example. He will drink beer on national television but will not try to live right. I am not saying that I am perfect because I'm not. However I try my best to set a good Christian example. President Obama has no moral values he does not try and uphold the foundations on which the founding fathers built this country. If he continues on; America may just be in the drain quick. We need to rise up against the abomination of this country which was bestowed upon us. We need to rise up and get our morals reset in this country. We need to rise up and turn back to God. This country is lost without God at the head of it. Many of you are probably familiar with the Bible verse John 3 : 16;" For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that howsoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." God is a mighty, just, and everlasting God. God will not bless this country if we do not turn back to him so I encourage you lets rise up against the things of this world and put God back at the head of this country.

In conclusion, we need to do something about our sinful, deceitful, and murderous government. Abortions are commited daily. Our president drinks for all of the world to see, and most importantly our nation needs to turn back to God in order for him to bless us. If you would like to talk to more more about this subject then reply back through this blog.
                                         Sincerely,
                                                        Brent.

Here I go again. I get to tell you about the big buck that I killed this year. This was the biggest white-tail which I have killed in my life. In fact this is the biggest buck ever killed off of our farm.
I would first like to talk to you about what hunting means to me and my family. My brother and I were first allowed to hunt at an age of 8. I killed my first deer that year which was a 7 point buck and I killed a 6 point a little later that day. I grew up hunting its in my blood it is a family heritage.
Now let me tell you about the buck which I killed this year. Last year I was in my blind watching for a buck we had seen several times on camera. I knew he had been coming to this red oak tree to eat acorns in the mornings and was bedding up by  a branch of my spring in the evening. I was in my blind for about 2 hours when I turn and see a deer almost in my front yard. It was him it would have been a 700 yard shot. I knew my trusty 7mm o8 and I could not do the job at that distance I had to watch to the buck and let him go. My neighbor shot him a half hour later. So I came into this hunting season wanting revenge. I  wanted a monster buck. It was early one morning and I was in the same spot I was a year ago. My father was on the opposite side of our farm feeding cattle about 45 min. after daylight. My phone starts buzzing and I ever so quietly answer. My dad's rapid words came over the phone. " buck, a big buck headed your way I saw him coming into the main holler and he should be on top of you in about 15 min." It had been about 10 min. after the call when I saw the buck step out. He was a monster for an Arkansas deer. He was huge bodied with an enormous set of antlers! My heart began to pound and I knew I had to place a great shot. He was still in a trot when he went in  behind a grove of oak trees. I knew when he came out the other side I had to shoot whether he was walking running or stopped I had to shoot. I found the opening in my scope and whispered a quick prayer to the man upstairs. The buck walked into the clearing and began to slow to a stop. I put the cross hairs on the vitals and I pulled the trigger. I thought I had missed at first as the buck trotted off but then I noticed he had ran down hill I had placed a shot. The buck had not taken 10 more steps when he fell to the ground I had done it I had gotten my monster. I took off walking the 150 yards away were I had placed my shot and the buck had fell. I got up to the buck and was shocked by his size. He was a 9 nine point with good mass and long G2's and main beams. I called my dad to tell him my accomplishment and he was on his way to pick me and the deer up. We field dressed the deer quickly and checked it in immediately before moving the deer. We took the deer to a friend of ours who used to score deer and said it would score 129! That is pretty good for an Arkansas deer. I am proud to have him.
     In conclusion thanks for listening!

I had a blast over Christmas Break. My break was full of good family, friends, and food.
On Monday of Christmas break, I went to work. I worked hard for money in the laborious task
which I performed. At first I was hired for 10 dollars an hour. At first I was put with a crew to build
and repair water gaps. That was not an easy task. We were climbing in and out of hollers and
bluffs packing t-post and barbed wire. Upon reaching our first water gap; it had been completely
washed away.  We figured it would be due to the fact that it does every year. So off we took
driving post and stringing up wire. Now this was not my first rodeo with creek bottoms; but I do
believe that was one of the worst gaps we had to build. So after completing that our crew of
three climbed back out of the bottom and jumped in the truck to go to the next water gap. The
next gap proved to be easy as all that we had to do was tie everything back up in a way that if it
flooded again the water would blow the bottom ties out but the fence would not be lost. After
finishing the water gap crew I was put on the job hauling scrap metal. That job was actually kind
of fun because it makes a lot more money.
Now I’m on to the fun I had over Christmas Break. On Christmas day We woke up and
prayed and thanked God for sending his only son Jesus Christ to this earth so that one day we
might be able to be in heaven with him. So after thanking the Lord for all of his blessings we
opened gifts. Then we finished baking some pies and went to my Grandmothers house. We
opened gifts there and then all of the in laws came for christmas dinner. We had ham, noodles,
turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pies of all sorts. Then for the rest of the day we
played cards. We played cards from noon to 8 pm. We all had a blast. The rest of Christmas
break I worked and had fun with friends. On new years eve our church fellowship got together
and we all celebrated. I was thankful that we made it one more year with the excuse of a
president that we have.
In conclusion I had a Great Christmas break. It was a time of joy and cheer and happine
